Apa itu Scribblenauts?



Scribblenauts adalah game NDS yang dikembangkan oleh 5th Level, yang mengembangkan game Lock's Quest dan Drawn 2 Life

Prinsip Scribblenaut sadalah sangat sederhana: kamu mesti memungut benda bernama "starite" yang bentuknya adalah bintang. Yang bikin beda adalah cara kamu melakukannya

Dalam Scribblenauts kamu mesti menulis, yak tepat sekali, kamu mesti menulis. Untuk mencapai Starite akan ada berbagai rintangan, dan kamu mesti menulis solusi untuk permasalahan itu



Metode Scribblenauts dalam menyelesaikan problem yang ada adalah memanggil benda, benda apa saja yang kamu tulis. Kamu cukup mengeja benda tersebut dan benda itu akan keluar, bisa membantu kamu atau malah ga ngapa2in.

Salah satu contoh adalah : starite ada di atas sebuah pohon, gimana kamu ngambilnya?

- Kamu eja l-a-d-d-e-r dan sebuah tangga akan muncul, kamu cukup memanjatnya dan starite di tangan kamu

- Kamu eja b-e-av-e-r dan seekor berang-berang akan muncul dan menggerat pohon itu sampai jatuh, masalah selesai

- Kamu eja b-a-l-l dan sebuah bola akan muncul. Kamu tendang bolanya mengenai starite sampai jatuh, gotcha!

- Kamu eja t-o-r-n-a-d-o dan sebuah topan akan muncul, staritenya terbang terbawa angin dan jatuh ke tanah. Problem solved

Bayangkan, satu masalah bsia diatasi dengan 4 cara berbeda, yang merupakan sebagian mini dari apa yang bisa kamu panggil di Scribblenaut. Sekarang kerasa ga betapa asiknya game ini?

I had played all the big titles at E3. Private showings of God of War III, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake. But at 4:00 on Thursday, I was wondering around the show floor, wondering what else I had to see. I saw a small little booth for "Scribblenauts!" in the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment section. I mean, who goes to that booth? But I remember hearing about it on GAF, and so I decided to check it out.

Best game of E3? Without a fucking doubt. Anyone who says otherwise did not play Scribblenauts. Best game of all time? Jesus Christ, I don't know, maybe. It's a game that challenges your IMAGINATION. No other game has ever done that.

So listen to this story. I was in the early levels; I didn't quite have an idea of how ridiculously in-depth the database was. I was summoning things like ladders, glasses of water, rayguns, what have you. But I reached a level with zombie robots, and the zombie robots kept killing me. Rayguns didn't work, a torch didn't work, a pickaxe didn't work. In my frustration, I wrote in "Time Machine". And one popped up. What the ****? A smile dawned on my face. I hopped in, and the option was given to me to either travel to the past or the future. I chose past. When I hopped out, there were fucking dinosaurs walking around. I clicked one, and realized I could RIDE THEM. So I hopped on a fucking DINOSAUR, traveled back to the present, and stomped the shit out of robot zombies. Did you just read that sentence? Did you really? I FUCKING TRAVELED THROUGH TIME AND JUMPED ON A DINOSAUR AND USED IT TO KILL MOTHERFUCKING ROBOT ZOMBIES. This game is unbelievable. Impossible. There's nothing you can't do.

Jadi gw udah maenin semua yang ada di E3. Teaser God of War III, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, tapi jam 4:00 pas hari Kamis, gw lagi muter-muter, bingung mau liat apalagi. Jadi, coba lo denger nih. Gw lagi main level2 awal, gw ga tau hebatnya ni game waktu ntuh. Sederhana lah: manggil tangga, segalon aer, pistol laser, apalah. Tapi pas gw nyampe satu level, gw ketemu zombie robot, yang dewa banget dan gw mati trus. Pistol laser ga ngepek, obor juga, beliung juga ga bisa. Gw frustasi banget, jadi gw tulis "time machine" (mesin waktu). Dan, demi Tuhan! Muncul! Jadi gw masuk, dan dikasih pilihan: mau ke masa lalu ato masa depan? Gw pilih masa lalu. Muncul gw di masa dinosaurus! Anjing! Pas gw sentuh ga taunya gw bisa naekin tuh dino. Jadi gw naik satu, pulang ke masa sekarang, trus gw INJEK2 tuh robot. Lo denger gw ngomong apa? GW PINDAH WAKTU, NAEK DINO, DAN NGINJEK2 ROBOT ZOMBIE! Tutul dah! Ni game gila banget, bener2 luar biasa! Bener-bener bisa ngapa-nagapin dalam arti sebenernya

Sebagai fakta: kejadian ntu diabadikan sebagai artwork resmi ;)
Yang lebih hebat, bendanya ga terbatas pada benda satu kata. Bisa sampe 2 kata juga. Jadi lo bisa manggil Invisibility Cloak atau kaya tadi: Time Machine. Bahkan kalo lo mau "pedang" lo bisa milih, mau pedang kaya gimana. lebih hebatnya lagi, di dalam game ini ada "Einstein" dan "God" asli dah

P.S. : Scribblenaut dibuat dengan memperhatikan anak2. Menulis p-*-n-i-s atau d-*-l-d-o ga bakal memunculkan apa-apa
